Yesterday (He Cries No More)

Yesterday he cried no more
for all the drama he already had
for all he had was already broken
for e has had it with being sad

yesterday he showed his feelings
for the first time he spoke
'bout some - for him - important things
and about the way he broke

Yesterday he weakly smiled
weakly, but it really counted
he hadn't smiled for quite the while
but then an other emotion mounted

Alas yesterday was yesterday
today he has gone numb - again -
And I know it is not right to say
I'd love to go back to then
