Numb

My broken heart sits in pieces,
waiting to become whole,

my minds just numb now,
cant let myself feel emotion,

here I sit no one See's the creases,
or the me that he stole,

thoughts that my head just won't allow,
no love,no feelings, no devotion,

just numbness surrounding me,
forcefield around my heart,

dry tears I'm crying,
someone tries to get close,

I push them away so they can't see,
how much I am torn apart,

the words they say I ain't buying,
the past is like a ghost,

comes back to haunt me,
and protects my broken,shattered tired heart.
