Dumped....just left out to dry

I've never had much luck when it comes down to it,
they just see my body & can't see past that,

there's so much more to me than what meets the eye,
I'm a person with emotion's too I not scared to cry,

it's always the same excuses it's not you it is me,
leaving you with such insecurities,

just dumped, left out to dry,
excuses no real reasons why,

I don't understand why, I wonder is it me ?
or don't I deserve to be happy ?

dumped again getting hurt more,
already my heart must be tore,

I lost the first love can't find it again,
slowing losing all faith in men.
