No One Like You

by Pamela   Nov 22, 2006

When I'm here at this place,
It's like I'm not important.
When I'm gone,
I miss it, especially you.
It takes everything I have,
To try and stay strong.
People can never tell that I'm broken,
But somehow you read me like an open book.
You and her could always tell,
No one else really cared.
So many people say they'll always be there,
But at the end it's me, and hopefully you.
They try to break me,
But with you I stand strong.
Some people try to destroy everything we've got,
They just don't realize what I'll do for you.
They think I'm incapable of thinking for myself,
That I'm useless and I'm dumb.
Those people are the dumbest of them all.
They may think I'm weak,
But when they push, soon I'll shove back.
