Once Again

by Pamela   Nov 22, 2006

I tell my heart to stop,
But you can't stop loving someone.
He broke my heart once again,
I still can't stay away.
He told me he loved me,
That must've been another lie.
I've started to wonder,
If his parents really had problems.
He told me it was them,
But then he told my friend,
It just got old.
True love never gets old,
But maybe it wasn't real love though.
I'd never had those of feelings,
Of such strong love.
Some people would say,
It's because you're so young.
But on that April day,
My heart fell to the floor in pieces.
And now it hurts so much more,
Now I see him with this girl,
They flirt and hang out.
He seems so happy,
Like I didn't mean as much she.
Some say I should talk to him,
Others say you're better without.
How would they know though,
They really don't care, I know.
I've gotten more advice,
From a friend who's shown true.
She says follow your heart,
And if it comes to him go for it.
But I just don't know if I can take this rejection once again.
