Life without you

by Mizz Kayla   Nov 23, 2006

Let's play a game of life and death
How about we dance in the rain of falling glass
And let's walk along the river of contagious torment
Why can't we be free of the thing that pursues us?
Why must we run from everyone and never look back?
I'm sick of lying, of cheating, of stealing, of crying
I want to walk away from the freely without guilt
And I want to smile again without faking a single word
Fleeing from them won't solve the problem, believe me
I just want to free you from your troubles and your fear
All I wish to do is guide you across the unspoken barriers
Your past is what's tearing us both to pieces
And your hurt that lingers with you is unbearable
Please put down that blade in which you plan to end your life with
Please hand over the drug that you plan to numb your senses at the end
I need you to stay here with me, to fight life with me
Because without you, life is unbearable to witness
And without you, I would also have to end my own.
