Tragic Beauty

by Mizz Kayla   Apr 22, 2007

She sees the world
through tear filled eyes;
Plastic smile on her face;
That's her disguise.
She's made so many mistakes
and has a scar for each one;
She's cut, She's cried,
now all that's left to do is run.
But she knew they would find her,
no matter where she hid;
Then she'd be right back
where she started.
Now where's the point in that
when she could end it for good?
And if she didn't have those little girls
there's no doubt in my mind that she would.
She's tried it before
not too long ago;
She popped 13 pills
and tried to let go.
But surely the next morning
She was still alive;
Realizing it
She began to cry.
No one would notice
if she just disappeared;
Only those helpless girls
that's what she feared.
So she'll suck it up
and hold it all inside;
Until you see in the headlines
"last night a young girl committed suicide."
