Why Bother??

He doesn't see
What i do for him
He escapes it all
While I'm torn limb from limb

I could just sit
And watch it pass by
yet i try and stop it
I no longer see why

He constantly ignores me
And makes me feel like shit
And yet i still do all I can
To stop him being hit

So why do I still try
And why do I still care
Because when I need him
He is never there
