Shattered glass and broken hearts

She tiptoes softly
over the shattered glass
her toes are bleeding
from the crystal shafts
her eyes are watering
from the pain of her heels
but its nothing compared
to the pain inside she feels
but this pain is unspoken
she wont let it through
she barricades it out
and its all because of you
so she walks over glass
to stop all the pain
but it wont stop it
it may only delay..
