Daughter

Stillness calm me tonight
Let me fall to sleep.
My wrists were bleeding
They hurt me so bad.
Mom can hear me
A scream is like a sigh to you.
Dad can't you see
My clothes were perforated.
Purple bruises turned black
And you're still doing nothing.
Tonight, I feel no souls
But the pain still exists.
Now the home is gone
The knife fell from my hands.
