It all started on a weekend at home,
my dad was away at work, so i was waiting 4 him 2 phone.
me, jade and sarah were all just sitting there,
and he hadnt phoned, which we thought wernt fair.
so i asked if i could,
and the answer was \"no\", so there i stood.
wonderin why i couldnt ring,
on the inside of me, there was a sting.
so we went upstairs where every1 slept,
and in2 their room we quickly crept.
as we looked inside their cupboard,
although we was young we had just discoverd,
that the cupboard was bare,
and there was nothing left in there.
where dads clothes should have been,
it was an empty space which was left really clean.
and by then we knew something wasnt right,
so i went downstairs not feeling alright.
so sarah started 2 question mum on what was going on,
she looked us and said \"im sorry daddys gone\".
as the tears rolled down my cheek,
i phoned up dad 2 hear him speak.
as he was speakin he started 2 cry,
so he hung up the phone without saying bye.
there we all was, thinking dad was away,
but really they split up, and didnt wanna say.
it only happend when i was 8,
but it was all becuase he was having secret dates.
and mum caught him out on the game he was playing,
so she said to him that theres no way he is staying.
although it did upset us all,
after a week or so it was all cool.
it felt wierd without him there,
but what he did just wasnt fair.
as much as i love him and wanted him 2 stay,
mum thought it was 4 the best and thats the price he had 2 pay.
and now he only lives 10 mins away,
and if i wanna see him all iv gotta do is say.
