Our Love

by ImTheGirl   Nov 27, 2006

Our love is like chalk on a sidewalk
never there to stay
at instant it may rain
washing it away

our love is like a kite
blowing in the wind
and every time it falls down
we try to get it up again

our love is like a hurricane
with many twists and turns
it keeps on destroying us
you would think that we would learn

our love is a piece of candy
that we've been holding on for too long
we want to get rid of it, but we can't
somehow it just seems so wrong

our love is like an old pair of jeans
that we refuse to throw away
it just doesn't fit the same
but we're both too afraid to say

our love is like a cake that didnt rise
of course its not the same
we dont know where we went wrong
and we dont know who to blame
