You Try

by Ashley Morris   Mar 23, 2004

You try to change my views.
You try to change my memories.
You try to act as though everything is ok.
You try to stand up for that...
Thing.
You try to forget what she's done to you,
All of your 14 yrs and my 17.
You give her chance after chance.
Just wait, you're asking to be hurt.
I did the same thing at one time,
But I did learn my lesson:
She will never change for anyone.
You try to not see it,
You try so hard.
You'll see it one day.
I just hope it won't be too late.
