When did the World Change?

If beauty is only skin deep
Then why does it always matter?
Days go by while pretty girls weep
For there scared they are getting fatter

When did the world change?
And the pace become so rapid?
The sicknesses making as derange,
And all these disgusting habits

Bulimia and anorexia,
Where did our minds go?
Did we ever hear of karma?
I guess that answer is a no

I like to go back and remember
The way things used to be
Back when the world was simple
And all I had to be was me
