My Brother's Fight

by Kait   Nov 29, 2006

Here it comes.
Another fight.
Harsh words spill from your mouth.
I've done nothing wrong.
You just fight anyways.
I run away from you.
Lock the door behind me.
The radio is turned on.
I crawl into a corner.
My knees are hugged closely to my chest.
My head resting on my knees.
Then, the tears begin to pour.
I cry for what seems like days.
When in reality, it's been only a few moments.
You're my baby brother.
I'm supposed to look after you.
But, you won't let me in.
You push me farther and farther away.
You tear me down with each insult you throw at me.
I just want a brother I can say good things about.
But, now all I can tell my friends about is my brother's fight.
