Time

by Barbi Taylor   Nov 29, 2006

Time has no boundaries only places to go
Unfortunately it never leaves slow
So quick does the sand fall through the hour glass
As seconds, minutes, hours, days does time pass
Leaving behind memories of old
Where the contradictions will burn you cold
Moving on, saying goodbye
Confronting the reality that we all must die
Leaving the years of our blessed youth
To a place of unrealistic truth
Living life as if it will end
Making an enemy a very close friend
Treating time with respect for it is vital
Thinking deeply about its title
Remind yourself not to waste this gift called time
Living your life to its prime
Loving each second
Cherishing each minute
Using each hour
Living each day
This is spending time in a useful way
