Broken seashells

Broken seashells on the shore
If you want it, ask for more
Gentle breeze, blow me away
Perfect summer, night and day

The waves touch the sand
Watch the water mix with land
Tree stand tall, give us shade
In a second a moment is made

As rain falls, life goes on
Listen to nature sing it's song
Weeping at shadow's grave
Bathing in the darkest waves

Let's walk together, you and I
Look at the sun in the sky
Thinking, speaking in unison
Forever, we'll be joined as one

There is darkness on lonely shores
Deeper than sea, music in its roars
Tainted by war, the blood and pain
But it's soothed by the rain

Did you thank God for the sun or the moon
The stars, or the rain in late afternoon
Look at the sunset, no one will miss
This is the beauty of the ocean's kiss
