Cormada

by InterviewWithTheKat   Nov 30, 2006

Cormada.

In the land where time began,
And races came together,
Imagination formed the earth,
And magic formed the weather.

Unheard creatures free to roam,
Peace was king of all,
Magic people lived there once,
But paradise was to fall.

Magic slowly drained away,
It was, as they had feared,
People stopped believing
And Cormada disappeared.

Days passed by, and turned to weeks,
Weeks rolled into years,
The start of humans soon began,
And with them came the tears.

But alas! There is hope,
For it will again,
Rise up, from the deep,
And this day will be when,

We can dig deep, inside ourselves,
When we start to breath,
Wipe the shield from our eyes,
And then start to believe.

It does exist...

Hey, for you first poem that you've posted, that was pretty darn good, actually, it's good, period. Though I do have one slightly negative thing to say about this poem. I think the last two stanzas lowered the standard of the piece. Anyway, I loved the rhymes, loved the words and i loved the style. Good work
