My summer

The night has been so cold,
since the warmth of your soul
left me so cold and alone
taken from me the light of life
now i weep and bleed
unable to love again

the passion of life drained from my cheeks
as it runs from inside
as I fall through this dark abyss
for only a moment I feel you close
oh so close
and just as quickly
my passion has drained completely

leaving me hollow and alone as I
fall my last few feet
I see your face and
with one last tear
I fade away

but then a light
and once again I feel warmth
not of you but of another
and with new hope
I once again face the light

for you I grieve but
my burden lightened
I step forward,
only hoping you suffer as I had
so good by till hell consumes us both
