Butterfly wings

by claerwen   Nov 30, 2006

I came across a butterfly, with one broken wing
To see it was dying, from being hit by mummy's big fat diamond ring
I sang to it and mended it with a Band-Aid, but the butterfly didid look better
It just laid their in my hands, I just watched it fall asleep
The life it leads it short but sweet
The wonder it leads from day to day
not know who it will be meeting along the way
But then when mummy came she told me it was too late
She told me it lived a good life
She told me it would have kissed me goodbye.
The wings of a butterfly, have you ever seen one die?
