In My Perfect World

by Kylie   Dec 1, 2006

In a perfect world,
The birds would not sing 'till you're awake,
You'd have a button to fix every mistake,
People would think about the choices they make,
And you'd know the path you are to take,
In a perfect world.

In a perfect world,
Life would be very clear,
Hate would be far; friendship near,
There would be nothing to fear,
And frowns would never exist here,
In a perfect world.

In a perfect world,
The best things in life would be free,
There would be money on every tree,
People wouldn't starve 'till their bones you can see,
And of course, everyone would agree
In a perfect world.

In a perfect world,
There would be no war,
Everyone would know what they're living for,
No one would need anything more,
Everyone would have something they adore.
In a perfect world.

In a perfect world,
There would be nothing but love,
There wouldn't be below; only above,
Peace would fly like its dove,
And people would get what they dream of.
In a perfect world.

In a perfect world,
All lives would be complete,
Everyone would win, not compete,
Everyone would have a fire to heat,
Only wrong would find defeat.
In my perfect world.
