My Identity

by Emma Brown   Dec 1, 2006

Wearing my badge in college is a drag
I'd rather keep it in my bag
Tutors look and want to see
If I am who I'm meant to be
For safety's sake they want to check
The I.D badge around my neck
The badge I wear lets people see
My name and face and proves it's me

To stay at college I must wear
The badge that shows I belong there
The rule is clear and I can see
They're only looking after me
A rebellious student I am not
To be compliant is my lot
Look at my chest and you will see
My symbol of Identity
