Worn love - melts away

by charlotte alfrey   Dec 1, 2006

Jealously is taking its toll on me,
Rising above your old face,
You looked so melted with speculation.
Why didn't you stay it was a long time to find a golden way.
You have to forget what they said it's all over with, just walk away,
But you know in your dream it's your last chance to melt away.

All over me like rain on the inside, God helps me now,
Please help me the time is now. It might be your last chance,
To fall on me with my swollen heart,
Silver bellies with worn out shoes.

It's been okay for a long time
Believe in me like lovers should,
You know it's an old place where we stand in shadows,
But it is a familiar scene we have been here before
Don't dance down to your worn out feet.

Listen, this is the disco tune
Forget it, its all over with...
The Oh knows are out
Forgotten like lovers silver rings.

There is an old you under your young heart,
Under broken hearts that sit in the cold,
Rise above it
Because it's all over with now,
Beneath the cold showers
And untold lies
