Hey Baby

This is a poem my husband wrote me when he was in the army (basic training) and we were away from each other it has lots of meaning to me and so I wanted to share it hope you enjoy!

I never saw it coming
I never had a clue
Who would of thought
The day would come
When I fell in love with you
Some people wondered
Some people questioned
Why can't you wait
I said I knew it was fate
And now I'm left standing here
We are so far apart
Everyone was wrong
Cause you stole my heart
