"Will you ever return to this spot
    Where in your youth you
Played and chipped at my skin,
Where the initials of your love grew old."

    My fave stanza.
I read it through twice to get the full effect and your words were amazing
    Excellent write
    5/5

What a wonderful poem. The feelings you have given to the tree makes it seem alive. Iread this one wto my grandchildren so they would understand the importance of the trees in our world. excellent job!

I love it. The use of nature really brough the effects of the poem out. I am so glad you suggested it to me, I would have never found it on my own. If you like hearing about nature and fantasy, try my new one, The Magic World. I give you a 5/5 and hope to see more of your work soon!

Well Tom you certainly are very eloquent when expressing yourself, I think the older i get the sillier i get. Your poem actually brought a tear to my eye, it destroys me to see how thoughtless mankind is to a gift that is only on loan. Your poem is absolutely beautiful, very well written
