This Humble Child

[[Smile like you're forgiven
by your mother and your friend
like you're no longer lost alone
as if someone reached you a leading hand...]]

the land of regret illuminated
with just a sparkle and a sting
but it slowly evaded
life was nothing more than a fling

She screamed in despair
nothing left to hope for
her hands hanging, gasping for air
she expected so much more

Impatiently she walked up and down
the narrow street was closing
she started breathing heavily, little
drops of sweat were floating upon her skin

Suddenly she just stood still
feeling changes all around her
and inside her she was terrified
she moaned full of pain and asked for her mother

Yet her request was fully neglected
she lied there all alone, no one did appear
battling with herself continuously
she thought finally her end was near

and then it happened, her time had come
of her anonymous suicide, the humble passion
of this poor child, she stopped breathing all alone
glad that it finally worked, now she is gone
