I Found My Place

by ThugPoet   Dec 2, 2006

Today, as I lay, I watched a black man Pray,
Standing tall, a man humbled but complete,
His skin the color of his hair, and not a single grey,
Content as I watched a black man Pray,
His bowing & prostrating shook my soul,
It was Faith that found its way - black, white, adolescent or old,
I had never seen a man so handsome and I scarcely saw his face,
As I lay, in Madeenah, I had found my place,
Today as I watched a black man Pray.
