She Needs No Love

by Lost & Delirious   Dec 2, 2006

"Remaining unloved."
What a heart-breaking fear.
Piercing her young soul,
Scraping the future mind.
But the tender skin
Remains flawless and brave,
Showing everyone:
"She needs no love."
Not now, not ever!

This was interesting. I'm not all too sure if I agree or not with the statement being made: that a person can go without love. They possibly can, but I think having love in the world makes it that much better, that much more easier to survive. Love is what makes the world go round. (Cliche, yes, but true!)

It was, however, an enjoyable read. The flow was flawless.

Another wonderful poem.. you describe once again your emotions wonderfully.. the idea of a hidden emotion is a bit cliche.. but you did a great job with this :D

Powerful, short and powerful. That was excellent. too many poems that short are dry of emtion. The word choice was excellent, the emtions deep, powerful, and so intense. 5/5

Great poem, although i must disagree with ...

    "She needs no love."
    Not now, not ever!

I think everone needs to love and be loved. But thats just my opinion!

Although this is a very short poem, it has clear emotions, and it was worded verry well.

Your words are verry descriptive too, great use of vocab.
Try to use a capital letter at the start or every new line though.
