Just A Story She Told;

by CondescendingHeart   Dec 2, 2006

"Just a misunderstood lie,
That Kept Her holding tight;
Just a broken dream,
She dreamt of every night."

Their love is lost,
And their lust is hate,
Their secrets are rumours,
And wishes set straight.

Seldom felt feelings,
Of broken dreams,
Condescending Promises,
Of Which One Seems.

A Friendship Tarred apart,
To What Was Called Forever,
A misunderstood lie,
Told a little to clever.

Holding on To a memory,
That was never meant to be,
Causing Another Broken Heart,
And shedding a destiny.

Another young girl,
With eyes filled of tears,
She cried her self to sleep,
To hide from her fears.

"Just A Story She Told,
To keep her self alive;
Just a toyed with memory,
To help a love survive."
