This is what its come to
A love I never knew
We swore it up and down
And pretended it was true

It's better to have loved and lost
Then to have not loved at all
Except for the enormous pain
The moment you begin to fall

Even though we fell so hard
You where my one and only
But eventually the days grew longer
And the nights soon became lonely

Pieces of us slowly faded
As our world began to Shatter
We wanted so much so fast
That nothing else could matter

We paced different directions
And started going different ways
Suddenly we stopped talking
And didn't see each other for days

It seems our love had past us by
The moments we enjoyed it most
We lost site of all the simple things
And lived our lives like ghosts

Now its time to say goodbye
And realize it wasn't that bad
Even though it ended like this
I'm thankful for what we had.
