It's Too Late

Says Girl to Boy,
"I've known you a long time now,
and I need to tell you something"
Says boy to girl
"Tell me"
Says girl to boy
"Erm...it doesn't matter"
Says boy to girl
"OK I will see you tomorrow"

The girl runs home after saying bye,
She thinks about the boy so much,
As the days go by,
The words she needs to say, I love you, reach the tip of her tongue,
Then they slip back in her mouth,
She feels for love, she is too young.

The next day the girl gets a new burst of confidence,
She runs to the boys house, with the words in mind,
She's going to say what she thinks, speak her mind.

She runs to the door and gives a loud knock,
The boy's mother answers,
But wont look the girl in the eye,
She just stares at the clock.

Says girl to boys mum
Is he in

Says boys mum to girl
He died, last night
It was suicide
It gave me such a fright...
I heard him scream and gasp in pain,
I ran upstairs to see his dead body and I cried in vain.
He'd left a note,
Which I didn't need to read
Because when I looked at his wrist deadly bleed,
That gave me all the information I needed to know
Eventually I picked up the note with a trembling hand,
And as I read I began to understand
He loved you
He wanted you
He needed you
And he felt he couldn't have you,
So deprived himself of his pain and want...
