Oh Sweet Razor Blade

by forsakendisaster   Dec 3, 2006

Oh Sweet Razor Blade,
So long I thought you were saving me,
When really you stole away my freedom.
Tricked me into selling my soul to you.

Oh Sweet Razor Blade,
Your whispers echo in my mind.
Singing that comforting lullaby,
How I wish I had resisted your tempting calls.

Oh Sweet Razor Blade
You cause me such pain,
I have no one else to turn to,
I can't tell them of the kisses you left upon my skin.

Oh Sweet Razor Blade,
How I wish to escape your control,
Just walk away without a second thought.
But your help is all I have.

Oh Sweet Razor Blade,
I write and write, of all my troubles.
I blast the music oh-so loud,
Drowning out all your spoken support.

Oh Sweet Razor Blade,
I can't hear your calls,
The numbness you caused has started to wear off,
I have started to feel again loneliness is gone,

Oh Sweet Razor Blade,
So long you told me I was alone,
No friend really loved me,
The same friends that now support me,

Oh Sweet Razor Blade,
Without you I've discovered my voice,
I tell of all the troubles,
that once weighed so heavily upon my mind.

Oh Sweet Razor Blade,
I warn people of your power,
How you aid in the devil's plan,
To guide people from the right path.

Oh Sweet Razor Blade,
I wish to make you as empty as you once had me,
To make you think no one is there for you.
I pray that your sweet melodies do not fool the ears of others...
