Her escape

by skittles   Dec 4, 2006

She sits in the bathroom meanwhile her tears shatter
shes so filled with pain, but her emotions dont matter
theirs are the ones that are important, so shes forced to hide her own
to hide it she puts a big old smile on her face, meanwhile her emotions are being torn
noone suspects because she can fake things so well
that this girls trapped in a shell
so to relieve her misery she pressures the knife on her skin
as she feels the pain it giver her, her face forms a grin
she likes feeling hurt, somewhere else besides her heart
as memories flash before her eyes, she thinks of how they have to now depart
shes crying on the outside
and bleeding on the inside
what am i to do? she thinks holding the knife
its sad how this is the way she controls her life
noone suspects because she cuts somewhere not easily found
noone suspects because she cries to herself without a sound
this girls like a zombie on the planet everyday
this zombie stays quiet meanwhile it has alot to say
and as she cuts she always has a tear in her eye
she feels worthless, stupid, and just wants to die
her veins she cant stop staring at them
with one slice everythings over, nomore pain
with blood dripping against her skin, she wonders if she should stay in this hell
she does and puts that smile on that she wears so well

This one really hits home. Great job. It would be a little easier to read if it was in stanzas and things were capitalized but those are minor things. It's really good.
