Those days

by jack   Dec 4, 2006

I remember those days were we would laugh together
cry together
i wish we could die together
sit on the grass and rhyme together
hear the chimes flow in the wind
as we run through our subconscious mind.

you lay tired on the floor
uninspired by the hills
and what is more you are smiling
happy to be with me and i with you
as i search into your eyes a never ending spiral,
of tyrant blue.

i wake...and gaze into space.
and like the western high lake my water flows for you.

Outside of making some different changes in the structure (like putting 'of tyrant blue' in 2nd stanza as one complete line-which would make this great description/image stand out more) this piece is really outstanding. Overall a good flow, some excellent imagery, great word usage, and very well conveyed emotion of love and contentment. A great piece!
