She Falls

by Christie   Dec 4, 2006

Yesterday, the first and last,
Poision sultry on her lips,
Tears flow, brightly receding,
Following her imperfect kiss.

Resonance plays memories unseen,
Vines creeping over shattered ground,
Shadows rising defiantly so,
Sanity lost with that sound.

Love her angel of despair,
Broken eyes to match her heart,
Shouting not to those who hear,
But those who too are torn apart.

Patience dancing with the calm,
Destroying the little peace of night,
Cobble stones, around her lay,
Reaching grass of death abides.

With night, sequential weakness works,
Black trees loom, silencing all,
Frost covering a blackened earth,
Crying, alone, subdued she falls.

Ooo. Lovely dark poem. Sorry I haven't been on in a while. And this took so darn long to reply to your request. I haven't had the chance to get on much lately. -sigh-

Anyways...The flow was excellent. I liked it a lot. It really added to the whole story too. I liked most of the way you described things. It was so well written I wanted to read it again. ^_^. Well done. =) 5/5 xxoo
