A Tragic Loss

During the past few years,
I've shed so many painful tears.
They've all been shed for you,
Only problem is you never knew.
You left so quickly without a goodbye,
It isn't fair and all I can do is cry.
All I want is one more time,
Just to hold you is that a crime?
I'll always love you so very much,
And I'll never forget your touch.
It hurts to think of you and me,
Remembering what used to be.
I'd give anything for another chance,
Just to have one final memorable dance.
I leave flowers at your grave stone,
Cause without you I am so alone.
I pray to the Lord and ask why sometimes,
And how to deal with this tragic loss of mine.
