Her Eyes

by Nameless Useless   Dec 5, 2006

Her Eyes.

I give it my all to see you smile

for that I would walk a hundred miles

yet it all came to naught as I failed

as my eyes beheld her my heart quailed

for her wrath was like the mighty sea

and no reason could I make her see

I loved her but she didn't love me

she was full of anger and resentment for me

in the end I failed and walked away.

and ever I wander far and away....

in the mists of shadow I roam

under the moonlit stars I make my home.

for even to the last

my heart was hers at last.

I loved her but she didn't love me

why was I blinded? I couldn't see.....
