Just a little talk

I sat down today,
to write a poem for school,
choosing my topic was easy,
i wanted to talk to you.

this is really difficult
I'm lost for words to say
making the last three weeks without you,
sound as if I'm okay.

The days are getting harder,
we all miss you so much.
i hope you and Grandpa,
are watching over us.

Don't feel bad for us,
when tears roll down our cheeks
it's hard not being able to see you,
not even a little peek.

But i know you're okay now,
that the pain is gone away,
and though i miss you I'll see you one day,
it just cant be today.
