Fading Away

My veins pouring blood
My heart crying mournful tears
Everything has taken its toll
I'm afraid of my fears

My thoughts driving me insane
I'm going so mad
Everyone smiles and says
"Your life isn't that bad"

If they only knew
What's deep inside
Then they would see the reason
Why I run and hide

My depression chases me
Everywhere I go
When it will leave
Is something I don’t know

I drop to my knees
As I taste death’s kiss
My life is the one thing
I will never miss

Sounds start to fade
As everything goes dark
My life is over
I've left my mark
