My Leather Jacket

by Jenine Jean the great   Dec 6, 2006

How do you go on without feeling sadness for your empty victims? One after another, they all go through the tunnel of deceit joyous, fantasized and come out old, experienced and remorseful.

I am now cold and exasperated and have no coat because of you. You stripped me of my youth, and everything I lived for. You fooled me once before, but not like this time.

Abandonment of all hope.

Sometimes people don't realize your sugar coated lies, when really you are just the black coffee I made you out to be from the beginning.

My coat is gone, your leather soul and my denim soul are now separate and once again my life is incomplete.

Sorrow

One once realized the power of love and tea, and all great things. But, one, is gone now. Floating in a sea of basses and salt shakers.
Acrobats in a jungle of light bulbs is my only resort of happiness now.

Leather Guy, even after all this, your heart and mine were meant to be. You are my passion and my hope. I need you Leather. Sing me a melody of sweet songs filled with deceit and fool me once again.
After all, third time is a charm......

Leather Guy is a poem I dare not remember. I deleted it from my memory a while back. Unfortunately I cannot go through with your request. I'm sorry, it is just not something I am willing to open up again. Maybe when I am up to challenge my mind, I will put it up. But thank you for your praide octopuscarwash, it shines a light on whatever hope remaining in my heart.
