Sally Mae

by Diana   Dec 6, 2006

Sally Mae was siting beside the window sill
and that is where she sits all day and where shes sitting still
She watches people passing by with her mournfully stare.
Wishing some day soon that some one would take her out of there.
Shes never had a mom and dad to tuck her in at night.
She wishes she had a family she wishes with all her might.
So she sits there watching other kids get homes but sure..
She holds her breath each time wishing it would be her.
Until one day a lady took her by the hand.
Told her things she never heard or did and said she can.
Sally Mae smiled for the first time in her life.
She had finally found her family after all the pain and strife.
