Dead End Deal

You dont have to care
of what they possibly think
you are your own person
dont give them an inch

if you show your anxiety
your weakness is revealed
but what does it really matter?
this life is a dead end deal

were only here for a short time
so have fun being yourself
dont care about being slated
take yourself from off the shelf!

one thing is for certain
we will all die some day
so make sure you leave your mark
do not be afraid to stay

    What! Why has someone voted low on this and then not even left a comment why? I really liked this poem and i thought the message and story in it was brilliant and worthwhile. Reminded me that what i think about myself is important. I really enjoyed the poem. I give it 5/5.
