No longer

by Shakepeare   Dec 8, 2006

The moonlight strokes her pretty face,
The ocean licks her toes,
The wind sings a mournful song,
She finally ended her woes.

No longer will she dance,
No longer will she sing,
No longer will she cry,
For she has taken wing.

She flies high above us now,
She has finally departed,
At least now she has no pain,
No more is she broken-hearted.

From her hand, the shining knife,
Drifts slowly out to sea,
Even now it still floats,
On a never ending journey.
