Seven Deadly Sins

by Blackthistle   Dec 9, 2006

You passion, your fire
Your so hot you perspire
I grip you tight
I feel your bite
And I cry out
We are taken
By our friend, Lust..

You stand beneath
The trees so tall
Their ripened fruits
Upon their brow
You reach to take
Yet ropes bind tight
Your rescuer
Shall be your end
For you are received
By Gluttony..

I sit in the car
As you emerge
You wanted more
And now have nothing
I see them take you
For your Greed..

I wrap you tightly
Within my embrace
I wait for you
To change your face
Yet no smile
I do see
You are controlled
By a thing called Sloth..

I stand at your arm
A glimmer in eye
Yet on your face
It is unmasked
It is your Pride..

I held his hand
For only a moment
But you still saw
I am free
Without you
But your glance
Showed your Envy..

You throw a chair
A table and lamp
A single shard
Pierces my heart
And I fall
A victim to your Wrath..

**A/N- I know it may seem sorta religious but it isn't. It is about the sins we all encounter.**
