Murder Part One

by Jesslynn   Dec 10, 2006

They walk in the door and tears fill their eyes
Because in that room my dead body lies

They don't know what happened by what they see
There's a razor blade, a phone, a note, and me

The phone is not on, there's no blood on the floor
So they read the note to find out more

The note says one thing and that's the word "Why?"
No one understands this, no matter how hard they try

They'll never understand what caused my death
I kept it a secret till my very last breath

If you wanna know the truth go back to the start
He said, "I don't love you." and it went straight to my heart

My heart was dying and I quickly began to fall
I hit the bottom with no strength to crawl

I had hoped you would rescue me from the pain
So I waited and waited but you never came

I didn't commit suicide like you may guess
The truth is that my whole life was a mess

I couldn't look in the mirror without feeling disgust
I couldn't love anyone because of so much mistrust

I needed only one thing that I couldn't get
I needed someone who actually gave a shit

Well now I'm gone what else can you do
It was murder, not suicide, and the killer is you
