Fairie Land

by jennifer   Dec 10, 2006

When i am running
and trying to find a place to hide
and wish i could get away
i think about my imagination world
that i made up when i was about 10
it seemed so real
it was quite the Fairy Land
i would dream of it every night
hoping it would become part of my reality
but it didn't
now that I'm a little older
and people say fairy things don't exist
is the moment
when you start questioning it
and asking if it's weird
or is it actually real
when you do you lose a part of it
that you can't get back
so when you are running and hiding
then you don't have a safe place
to stay till every bad is gone
when we are kids we need that place
but what people don't get
no matter what
age. size or shape
you will always need a place that you fell secure
so when you are telling
someone somethings not real
you should make sure you know it
because i do believe in each of our hearts
there is an imaginary place
they might not know its there
it might be they just haven't visited for awhile.
