I Feel Sick

by N J Thornton   Dec 10, 2006

Silence envelops the moths inside,
flying into my gut wall,
again and again -

I feel sick.

My tongue of sandpaper,
hopes your heart isn't as fragile,
as mine.
And my tears wish they could
change the world for yours...

But,
I can no longer be the soul,
standing behind you, as you fall,
as I'm simply not strong enough
to catch you.

**A bit cliche compared to my normal stuff yeah, but hey, it's sweet.

Definitly my favorite.. and yes its a cliche idea.. but i dont think cliche ideas are bad its how you turn it into a poem.. and the poem is very original.. in the way it was written and the words you chose...

Very nicely written. I loved it. It was a bit short however, I'd like to see it maybe a little longer. The flow was good and the strucutre was ok. Great Job!!!

    Peace, Joe
