Why?

I wish I could tell you goodbye
I wish I could say that I lied

It all started as a pretend
Then started falling way so fast
Now that I'm so confused
Will you be by my side?

I did care about you
I did, more than my own family
I would give my life any time or day
But why?

Why?
Why would you do this to me?
Why did you let me fall for you so deep?
Knowing that this was all pretend to get back at me

Why?
Why are you so mean?
You took my heart and turned it into dust
Now, I could never put it back
For the wind had blown the pieces of my heart.
