As the tears continue to come at a steady pace,
Each one running it's course down the side of my face

I try to think back on better days,
And how you touched our lives in so many ways

You were a friend to us all , in every aspect of the word,
Words of love, honesty, and encouragement out of your mouth is all we ever heard

Gad gave you to us, but was all to quick to take you away,
But before you go, just listen to what our hearts have to say

We will miss that life-sized smile so tender and warm,
But we won't forget your laughter, your love, or that amazing charm

We will remember your heart as big as the ocean is wide,
And even though your gone, a piece of you will always live inside
