Good Bye

Tears are now falling,
As this pen, hits this pad,
And I'm stuck with just memories,
Of all the times that we've had.

Eight years have gone by,
And every picture tells a story,
If I could say just one thing,
It would be that I'm sorry.

Now I'm left all alone,
With just images in my head,
About things we could have done,
About things we should have said.

If I ever get the chance,
To tell you once again,
I would tell you that, with out you in my life,
I feel like half a man.

So I guess this is the fork,
Where we go in different directions,
We leave our past behind us,
Without any exceptions.

So be strong in your journey,
Because I know that you can,
There's a part of me still with you,
Its the other half of this man.
